Dear SFC supporters, donors and friends,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I’m writing to let you know you that our amazing Executive Director Ronda Rutledge will be leaving the organization after almost 15 years at SFC to pursue a new dream with Mission Squared. Since 2006, Ronda has led SFC into the thriving organization it is today, and we owe her an immense amount of gratitude for her work.
During her tenure, she launched, led and completed a $4.5 million capital campaign that resulted in our current headquarters in East Austin, she successfully navigated the organization through two major economic downturns and she grew our programmatic capacity by 400%.
Fortunately for all of us, Ronda is staying in her role through December 31 and will be helping us transition the new Executive Director. We have lots of time to wish her well on her next adventure, but in the meantime, I’d like to express the board’s utmost gratitude for her dedicated leadership. An active search is underway, and our goal is to announce the next Executive Director this fall.
